Patented TPU Material — Developed In-House
Unlike competitors who purchase generic TPU film from third-party suppliers, Takibi formulates and extrudes its own thermoplastic polyurethane compound. This vertical integration — from raw pellet to finished fabric — gives us precise control over Shore hardness (85A-95A), tensile strength (>40 MPa per ASTM D412), and elongation at break (>500%). "Owning the material science is the single biggest competitive advantage in this category," says our founder Mr. Cao, who holds 3 patents on TPU inflatable construction.

Drop-Stitch Construction
Over 4,000 high-tenacity polyester monofilament fibers (110dtex) per square meter are precisely woven between two TPU layers using computer-controlled looms. When inflated to 7 PSI (0.48 bar), these fibers create an incredibly rigid, flat surface — eliminating the 'hammock effect' that plagues traditional air mattresses. Our drop-stitch density is 40% higher than the industry standard, resulting in a firmer, more supportive feel that outdoor gear reviewers consistently rate as "hotel-mattress quality."

What makes Takibi's TPU different from other TPU manufacturers?

Takibi is the only inflatable mattress manufacturer that formulates its own TPU compounds in-house. We use polyether-based TPU (not cheaper polyester-based) that is hydrolysis-resistant and works at -30°C.
What is Drop-Stitch construction?

Drop-Stitch uses thousands of polyester threads connecting the top and bottom fabric layers. When inflated, these threads create a flat, rigid surface that supports weight evenly — unlike round PVC air mattresses.
How does TPU compare to PVC for inflatable products?

Our TPU material is SGS certified for REACH, RoHS, and California Prop 65 compliance. We also hold zero-formaldehyde certification from accredited labs.

What is the self-locking air valve?
